I am not sure why I find writing my own biog such a challenge. I wonder if it is partly because I have written in the region of one hundred plays, and a dozen of them have had a life or two. Where do I start? Perhaps it is just part of being female, English and brought up in a particular culture where the work is supposed to speak for itself. Or is it, as an author, you put your soul into your writing and it is challenging to decant it into a title and year? I should probably just leave the questioning for a future script.
We’re back at the British Interplanetary Society for a rehearsed reading of my latest THAT MAD LITTLE PLANET CALLED EARTH script. The more laughter the better, so do contact me through my Contact webpage if you would like to join us on Tuesday.
